MINISTRIES

There's something for everyone.

KIDS
Children's Ministry offers a place where children 6 weeks through 5th grade can discover and develop a real passion for God and an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.  Through worship, teaching, and activities the children are exposed to God's Word and are challenged to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

MEN

Men's Study picks back up February 15th. This spring our men and women will be going over the same material to encourage and help with biblical conversation at home.

This time around we will be discussing what idols exist in today's culture and how to combat them. While this is a bible study it is based on the material found in Tim Keller's book Counterfeit Gods. If you would like to pick up the book that this study stems from follow the link below. You do not need this book to participate.

Our men meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month.

Study begins at 7:00 pm at the church.

WORSHIP

"God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." John 4:24

At C.C. Jacksonville our worship setting and style is contemporary, but not to exclude the more traditional style of worship which we believe to be rich in doctrine and sound theology.  Typically, our worship time will be about twenty-five minutes but ultimately reliant on the ushering of the Holy Spirit. At Calvary Chapel, we believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and we encourage their exercise, but always decently and in order, with an emphasis on the Word of God, which we look to as our primary rule of faith.

If you believe you're called to be a part of this ministry please click the Join or Serve button below to contact our Worship Leaders (Josh and Stephanie Sherman).

Youth (13-18) are welcomed to be a part of this team. This is their church as well. It is encouraged that they serve elsewhere in the church as to be worshipful in service as well.

HOSPITALITY

Hospitality is a foundational ministry for welcoming first time visitors and the church body. You are the love of Christ exemplified through a cheerful smile and hospitable service. We never know what somebody may be going through when they walk through our doors. We want to be sure they know that they are loved.

To get involved click on the button below to reach our Hospitality Team leader and Deacon, Nate Wilson.

Volunteers Packing Food

CALVARY CUPBOARD

The cupboard provides fresh and pre-cooked frozen meals to families within our body as well as those in need from the community. Whether it’s in celebration of a new born or a member of our body afflicted, there are many different opportunities that allow us to share Christ’s Love with a pre-cooked meal. Such an outpouring of God’s Love ends up a blessing both to the person preparing the meal, as well as the one receiving it.
